Waratah Bay Beach House is well appointed and comes fully equipped with LINEN (including doonas), sheets and pillows (excludes towels). The kitchen includes microwave, refrigerator and separate bar fridge. There is a washing machine, dryer, 3 TV sets, VCR, DVD player, tape and CD player, cot and high chair. All this and only 40 metres to the beach & kiosk!
Three generous bedrooms (queen, double and 2 singles - sleeps 6 easily), central bathroom with shower over bath, separate toilet and separate laundry.
Enjoy fishing, swimming and walking along this secluded beach and also only a short drive to Wilsons Promontory, Walkerville, Cape Liptrap, Foster and Fish Creek.
In the off-peak season at Waratah Bay you might be alone on the beach! Go fishing or a nice walk on the
beach. See the Waratah National Park with an ubundance of birds, wombats and kangaroos. Walking at sunrise/sunset
and to often see nobody is great! It's great to know that you'll feel many miles away and yet the way the crow flies, Melbourne is only 124!
The entire beach is a surf beach - great fishing and surfing, so enjoy!
Arrive back from swimming (or stay in bed!),
make a nice coffee! The beach is only 40 metres away. Visit Sandy Point for a tea/coffee or a bite to eat, or enjoy the silence with only the birds and sound of waves. You'll have no one bothering
you all day! Read a book to help unwind.
Walking along Waratah Bay is great
- no traffic and few town lights, and very few (if any people in the low season).
A good time to see Waratah Bay, away from crowds is midweek (weekends attract minimal people) and outside of the school holidays - but any time really is great!
